PROJECT GEOLOGISTS

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Geology (MS preferred), should have 5+ years of experience performing engineering geologic investigations.  Candidates possessing a P.G. and/or C.E.G. are preferred.  Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, be proficient with MS Word (MS Office, CADD, or Adobe Illustrator a plus), and possess a high degree of self-motivation.  In addition, qualified candidates must be capable of performing moderately strenuous activities (e.g. lifting 50 lbs.), possess a valid driver’s license, and be willing to use their own vehicle for occasional site visits (although we do maintain a fleet of company vehicles that are usually available for field visits).

Duties will include engineering geologic mapping, geologic logging and sampling of exploratory borings and trenches, map and aerial photograph review, field observations and testing at construction sites, and proposal and report preparation.
