GEOTECHINICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Murray Engineers (MEI) is seeking an entry level or senior level Geotechnical Engineering Field Technician to join our team. Candidates with an interest in building a career in the Geotechnical consulting industry are preferred. As a Technician, you will provide a wide range of construction oversight services including quality control observations, nuclear density testing of compacted materials, and various soils lab duties.

Candidate requirements include a high school diploma/GED (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree with coursework in civil/geotechnical engineering is preferred), own reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, ability to lift to 50 pounds regularly, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, enjoy working outdoors. Prior field technician experience in geotechnical consulting is preferred, but not required.
Compensation will be directly dependent on previous experience.
